Dear All The Mobile Office initiative engages with residents by taking customer services into communities. Trained City call Centre employees, equipped with laptops and 3G connectivity visit marginalized parts of the city to engage face-to-face with residents. These customer relations teams can access full C3 functionality, as well as information about the City’s departments and programs. The Mobile office initiative provides two-way communication by providing residents the opportunity to report issues and raise awareness and add value to communities. Through its alignment with the City’s Organizational Development and Transformation Plan, this project promotes improved service delivery and customer-centricity. With the above in mind, the role of the Subcouncil is to mobilize as many residents from the respective wards to attend the intervention.
